Minnedosa 50+ Seniors Activity Centre
The 50+ Seniors Activity Centre opened its doors in the fall of 2008. It hosts a variety of activities including floor curling, pool, card games, scrapbooking, book club, knitting group, scrabble, beginner bridge and more.
The Centre schedules various activities on a regular basis. Stop by and pick up a monthly calendar! These are located in the tray just inside the front door.

Husky Hall $60.00/day or $25.00/hour
Shuffle Hall $60.00/day or $25.00/hour
Kitchen $30.00 flat rate
Equipment $25.00 flat rate (Smart Board/TV DVD player)
Payment by cash, cheque or e-transfer

Minnedosa Handivan – Handicapped Persons Transportation
(Suspended until further Notice)
Eligibility – The Handivan is a transportation service designed to provide mobility on an equitable basis to all individuals living in Minnedosa, who are unable to use normal methods of transportation. An assessment of service need and/or eligibility if deemed necessary, will be conducted by a member(s) of the local health team.
The order of priorities, subject to the discretion of the dispatchers, is:
1. Medical Appointments
2. Employment/School
3. Adult Day Program
4. Business /Recreation
Within the priorities listed, appointments will be taken on a "first come, first serve” basis
For reservations call the dispatcher @ 867-5190 between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday ONLY
Rates: $6.00 one way within Minnedosa. Other rates apply. Must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Services to Seniors
A non-profit organization, Services to Seniors, is available to support living for seniors and people with disabilities. With funding through the Prairie Mountain Regional Health Authority, the focus is on wellness.
