Minnedosa is a community that is committed to life-long learning. Primary and Secondary School needs are met in the Minnedosa area by Tanner’s Crossing School and Minnedosa Collegiate. The needs of post-secondary students are met by Assiniboine Community College and Brandon University, which are both located in nearby Brandon.
The Adult Learning Centre offers high school courses to obtain a Mature High School Diploma, or a regular high school diploma. The Centre also offers high school credits that may be needed after high school graduation to meet the requirements for entrance into certain College programs, University programs, or employment programs such as Manitoba Hydro. Different levels of computer software programs are offered for credit as well.
Hours are 8:30am to 3:45pm Monday to Friday. The Centre is also open two nights a week for regular classes, and additional nights for computer classes. The evening hours are from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Minnedosa Collegiate is our area’s grade 9 to 12 school. With enrolment in excess of 240 students there are 24 professional and support staff, offering academic courses as well as auto mechanics, art, band, french, and a variety of other courses. In addition, Rolling River School Division operates an Adult Learning Centre in the community.

A place for parents and preschoolers to get together to play, learn and socialize, rhymes, circle time, resource lending library, crafts for children, and guest speakers. Free program.

Tanner’s Crossing School (TCS) is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school. Annual enrolment is in excess of 425 students and there are 55 professional and support staff. Tanner’s Crossing School’s motto is “the School that Cares and Shares.” TCS offers all the areas of specialization one might hope to find at a primary school. This includes: music, band, phys. ed. industrial arts, french, art, home economics, library, Lion’s Quest, annual musical, mentorship program, Successmaker, student support facilitator, guidance counselor, resource teachers, TACT program, and an active parent council. Tanner’s Crossing is a true community school. Staff at TCS work hard to emphasize the importance of community service and citizenship.
